Behind the scenes

I am in the Studio with the photography team preparing for the launch of my charity exhibition.

These monochrome ocean and cloud drawings have been created over the past year as studies for large abstract paintings which are currently in progress in the studio to be shown later in the year. Looking at light in black and white is always something I go back to, the drawings are windows onto the sky and ocean around me, which I never represent so literally in paintings.  Framed in white they are elegant and minimal in their own right.
